I got to take a trip into Acadia National Park with snowshoe runner Melissa Relyea Ossanna, of Bar Harbor, Maine. She was willing to bring me along (at a much slower pace than usual) on a run, to capture these images. Melissa runs for pleasure and for competition, and running in specially designed running showshoes is just one way she gets out there on the move.
