Call it Hooping, Hula-Hooping or Hoop-Dance, the movement and grace of a dancer combined with the hypnotic revolutions of a hoop provide a colorful, rhythmic, and flowing expression of skill. Thanks to Lexi Lilly, of Mount Desert Island, Maine, I had the opportunity to capture this art form through a combination of long exposures and flash photography.
